Description of Change: Improvements have been made to the horn, starting aid, start and test switch assemblies. Pretravel, spring force and boot material improvements make the switch less likely to stick or bind especially in cold weather.

Adaptable To: The following switch assemblies have been improved:

3T2357 Horn Switch Assembly
3T3453 Starting Aid Switch Assembly
3T3947 Start Switch Assembly
3T8514 Test Switch Assembly.

Starting with Date Code 439 and later, these switches have been improved. (43 = Week, 9 = Year) The switches are adaptable to all earlier machines using any of these switch assemblies.
