壳体 (7) 通过螺栓固定在车桥壳体上。 摩擦盘 (12) 通过花键与壳体 (7) 相连。

当驾驶室内的踏板踏下时,压力经由端口 (2) 进入制动器腔室 (11) 中。 这会移动活塞 (6) ,从而使摩擦盘 (12) 接触外板 (8) 。 外板通过花键与车轮 (9) 相连。 摩擦盘和外板间的摩擦力阻止车轮的运动。

(14) 导向装置

驾驶室内的踏板松开时,压力从制动器腔室 (11) 中释放。 固定在活塞 (6) 上的导向装置 (14) 被弹簧 (13) 移动。 活塞 (6) 移动使摩擦盘和外板间分离。 从而允许车轮移动而没有反作用力。

注: 当行车制动器接合时,弹簧被压缩。

行车制动器被来自举倾系统的油冷却。 冷却油经由冷却端口 (3) 流入冷却室 (10) 中。 这部分冷却油流到摩擦盘和外板之间。 当行车制动器接合时,摩擦盘内的环槽允许冷却油流过。 冷却油从冷却端口 (1) 流向举倾系统和制动系统的液压油箱。

可以将测试设备装入螺塞 (5) 的小孔中,以测量行车制动器内的磨损量。
