停车制动器由驾驶室内的停车制动器操纵杆控制。 停车制动器在发动机停运时自动接合。
当停车制动器操纵杆移到分离位置时，油经由管路 (4) 流入腔室 (7) 。 油使执行器活塞 (8) 克服弹簧 (9) 发生移动，并且杆 (2) 向前移动。 杆 (2) 的移动使操纵杆 (6) 逆时针转动，从而释放制动蹄 (1) 和盘 (5) 间的夹紧力。
当停车制动器操纵杆移到接合位置时，压力从管路 (4) 和腔室 (7) 中释放。 弹簧 (9) 伸长，并且弹簧使活塞 (8) 和杆 (2) 沿管路 (4) 的方向移动。 杆 (2) 的移动使操纵杆 (6) 顺时针转动，从而在制动蹄 (1) 和盘 (5) 间产生夹紧力。 夹紧力阻止盘的移动。
