The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

Corrosion has been found at the connection between the 8E-1118 Antenna As and 117-2932 Coaxial Cable Assembly . This connection is external to the 320-9870 Cab Ar . The presence of corrosion at the connection may cause the radio to be unreliable.

Orient antenna (1) to the upright position. Clean connection (2).

Apply 151-1340 Dielectric Grease to the inside of the coaxial cable assembly and the outside of the coaxial cable assembly.
