Start By:

  1. Remove the vibration damper and the pulley. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Vibration Damper and Pulley - Remove".

  2. Remove the radiator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator - Remove".

  1. Loosen bolts (1). Repeat this step for the opposite side.

  2. Remove bolts (2) and bolts (3).

  3. Attach a suitable lifting device onto lifting bracket (4) in order to support the weight of the engine. The weight of the engine is approximately 8618 kg (19000 lb).

  4. Raise the engine until engine trunnion (5) separates from the engine support. Do not raise the engine more than 6.35 mm (0.25 inch) above the engine support.

  5. Remove clips (6). Remove tube assembly (7).

  6. Position Tooling (A) under the front housing.

  7. Remove two of bolts (8).

  8. Install Tooling (B).

  9. Remove the remaining bolts (8).

  10. Use Tooling (C) in order to separate engine trunnion (9) from the engine.

  11. Remove Tooling (C).

  12. Use a suitable lifting device in order to remove engine trunnion (9). The weight of engine trunnion (9) is approximately 54 kg (120 lb).

  13. Remove bolts (10). Remove outer support (11) from mount assembly (12). The weight of outer support (11) is approximately 32 kg (70 lb).
