Fuel Priming Pump
Usage:
Remove And Install Fuel Priming Pump
Start By:
a. remove fuel filter housing
NOTE: It is possible to remove the fuel priming pump without removing the fuel filter housing. It is however, somewhat awkward and therefore for purposes of this story will be shown with the fuel filter housing removed.
1. Remove two bolts (1) from top of fuel filter housing and remove bracket (2).
2. Remove two bolts (3), two bolts (4) and remove priming pump assembly (5) from the top of the fuel filter housing.
3. Remove clip cover (6), bushing (7) and clip (8) from the fuel primer pump.
NOTE: Installation of the fuel priming pump is accomplished in the exact reverse order from removal.
