(2) Apply adhesive sideways on bottom side of plate to seal with cover.
Speed Sensor
Note: The following is a procedure for installing the speed sensor.
- Run the machine without the speed sensor (3) until one of the four corners of the square nut faces the hole for the sensor.
- Apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to the threads of the speed sensor (3).
- Screw the speed sensor (3) until the sensor touches the square nut. Unscrew approximately one turn.
- Gap between the speed sensor (3) and the shaft
1.5 ± 0.5 mm (0.06 ± 0.02 inch) - The nut that secures the speed sensor (3) should be torqued to
15 ± 1 N·m (11 ± 1 lb ft) .
