Aquila Database Configurator (ADC) will run on WindowsTM NT, WindowsTM 2000, WindowsTM XP and WindowsTM 2003 systems.
The hardware requirements for the ADC is minimal. ADC requires approximately 10 Megabytes of disk space and a computer sufficient to run one of the required operating systems.
Currently AQ2DB6 will only work with an Oracle database.
ADC uses an ODBC connection in order to connect to an Oracle database. Versions 8i and greater of Oracle are currently supported.
In Pit, On Board Software Compatibility
AQ2DB Version 6 is not fully compatible with V4 on-board systems. Avoid a mixed fleet of on-board systems. In order to maintain V6.x and V4 on-board systems, two versions of AQ2DB and two separate databases must be maintained.
Historically, the V4 data can be stored into the new V6 database schema. In order to store the V4 data onto the new V6 database schema, the original V4 productivity files must be reprocessed into the new database.
