Description of Change: Improved lip seals are now used in the transfer gear groups. The new lip seal is a triple lip seal. The new lip seal improves the seal on the yoke that is the input shaft on the transfer gear groups. The new lip seals improve the seal for oil. Also, the new seals improve the seal for dirt. A new bearing cage is used with the new lip seal.

Adaptable To: The new 235-2484 Lip Type Seal is a direct replacement for the former 142-8075 Lip Type Seal. The new 271-1627 Bearing Cage is a direct replacement for the former 3P-8146 Bearing Cage. The new lip type seal and the new bearing cage must be used together. The new lip type seal and the new bearing cage are adaptable back to the begining of production. The new lip type seal and the new bearing cage are used in the 7G-1150 Transfer Gear Gp, the 9G-9625 Transfer Gear Gp and the 3P-8137 Transfer Gear Gp .

The new 223-9743 Lip Type Seal is a direct replacement for the former 8C-3084 Lip Type Seal. The new 271-1570 Bearing Cage is a direct replacement for the former 3T-9400 Bearing Cage. The new lip type seal and the new bearing cage must be used together. The new lip type seal and the new bearing cage are adaptable back to the begining of production. The new lip type seal and the new bearing cage are used in the 3T-0280 Transfer Gear Gp .
