Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Install the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".

1. Raise hood (1) and install prop (2).

2. Remove nut (4).

3. Remove strut (5) from bracket (3).

4. Repeat Step 2 and Step 3 for the opposite side.

5. Attach a suitable lifting device to hood (1). The weight of hood (1) is approximately 86 kg (190 lb).

6. Remove cotter pin (7) and clevis pin (6).

7. Repeat Step 6 for the opposite side.

8. Remove hood (1).
