Installation Procedure

Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

1. Install O-ring seals (11) and (12) to the torque converter outlet relief valve.

2. Install torque converter outlet relief valve (10) to the torque converter housing.

3. Position electrical connector mount (8) to the torque converter outlet relief valve and install three bolts (5).

4. Connect hose assembly (7).

5. Install temperature sensor (6) and pressure tap (4).

6. Connect electrical connector (3).

7. Install clamp (9) to the valve body.

8. Install firewall (2) and upper cover (1).

End By:

1. Remove the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".
