1. Attach a suitable lifting device to hood (1). The weight of hood (1) is approximately 85 kg (190 lb).

2. Install hood (1).

3. Install clevis pin (6) and cotter pin (7).

4. Repeat Step 3 for the opposite side.

5. Install prop (2).

6. Install strut (5) to bracket (3).

7. Install nut (4).

8. Repeat Step 6 through Step 7 for the opposite side.

9. Place prop (2) in the stored position and lower hood (1).

End By:

1. Remove the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".
