Front Wheel

    For Tooling (A)

  1. Use Tooling (A) to raise the front of the machine until the wheels are off the ground.

  2. Use Tooling (A1) to raise the front of the machine until the wheels are off the ground. Refer to Tool Operating Manual, NEHS1303, "Lift Group (Stand - 25 Ton)" for more information on Tooling (A1).

  3. Attach a suitable lifting device to the wheel and the rim. The combined weight of the wheel and the rim for the 825H Soil Compactor is approximately 1978 kg (4360 lb). Install wheel (11) and the rim as a unit. Install bolts (12) and the washers to the rim.

  4. Lower the machine to the ground.

  5. Remove Tooling (A) or (A1).

  6. Install cap (9), shims (8), and bolts (10), from the rear of the push arm. Attach a suitable lifting device to the push arm. The weight of the push arm and the tilt cylinder is approximately 474 kg (1045 lb). Install the push arm.

  7. Connect the rod end of cylinder (3) to the blade. Install cap (2). Install bolts (1). Install pin (7) and install bolts (6). Connect hose assemblies (4) and (5).

  8. Remove the wood blocks from the rear tires.

Rear Wheel

  1. Thoroughly clean the contacting surfaces of the wheel and the axle housing.

    The 826H Landfill Compactor is shown.

  2. Install a suitable lifting device to the wheel and rim (2). The combined weight of the wheel and the rim for the 825H Soil Compactor is approximately 1978 kg (4360 lb). Install wheel (2) to the machine.

  3. Install nuts (1) on the wheel. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 570 ± 80 N·m (420 ± 60 lb ft).

  4. Remove the locking pin from Tooling (A) (not shown).

  5. Lower the machine to the ground. Remove Tooling (A) or (A1). Refer to Tool Operating Manual, NEHS1303, "Lift Group (Stand - 25 Ton)" for more information on Tooling (A1).

  6. Remove the wood blocks from the other wheels.

End By:

  1. Install the rear cleaner bars.

  2. Separate the steering frame lock.

  2. Install a suitable lifting device to the wheel and the rim. The combined weight of the wheel and the rim for the826H Landfill Compactor can weigh as much as 2753 kg (6070 lb). Install the wheel and the rim.

  3. Install nuts (1) on the wheel. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 570 ± 80 N·m (420 ± 60 lb ft).

  4. Remove the locking pin from Tooling (A) (not shown). Lower the machine to the ground using Tooling (A) or (A1). Refer to Tool Operating Manual, NEHS1303, "Lift Group (Stand - 25 Ton)" for more information on Tooling (A1).

  5. Remove Tooling (A) or (A1).

  6. Remove the suitable blocks from the other wheels.
