Equipment Lowering with Engine Stopped
Make sure that all personnel are clear of the machine before manually lowering the screed.
- Open the rear access door on the operator's platform. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Access Doors and Covers".
- Loosen locknut (1) .

- Turn screw (2) clockwise. Count the number of turns while you turn screw (2) clockwise. Turn screw (2) clockwise until the screed is lowered to the ground or until the screed is lowered onto the screed travel lock pins.
- Turn screw (2) counterclockwise back to the original setting.
- Tighten locknut (1) .
