Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Install the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".

1. Loosen clamp (2) .

2. Remove three bolts (1) and the washers.

3. Remove bolt (3) and the washer. Install Tooling (A) .

4. Attach a hoist and a suitable lifting device to Tooling (A). The weight of air cleaner (4) is approximately 48 kg (105 lb).

5. Remove two bolts (5), the nuts and the washers.

6. Remove air cleaner (4) from the machine.

Installation Procedure

1. Attach a hoist and a suitable lifting device to Tooling (A). The weight of air cleaner (4) is approximately 48 kg (105 lb).

2. Position air cleaner (4), as shown.

3. Install two bolts (5), the nuts and the washers.

4. Install and tighten clamp (2) .

5. Install three bolts (1) and the washers.

6. Remove Tooling (A). Install bolt (3) and the washer.

End By: Remove the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".
