Installation Procedure

1. Use a suitable lifting device in order to position shaft assembly (19), as shown. The weight of the shaft assembly is approximately 55 kg (121 lb).

2. Install bolts (10). Do not tighten bolts (10) at this time.

3. Use a suitable pry bar in order to force shaft assembly (19) toward the center of the machine, as shown. Moving the shaft assembly toward the center of the machine is necessary in order to install sprocket (15) on the shaft assembly.

4. Install hose assembly (13) on the shaft assembly.

5. Install sprocket (15) on chain (18) and the shaft assembly. Install key (17).

6. Use a suitable pry bar in order to force shaft assembly (19) toward the outside of the machine, as shown.

7. Install bolts (14).

8. Tighten bolts (10).

9. Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of setscrews (16). Install setscrews (16) in sprocket (15).

10. Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolts (11). Install cap (12) and bolts (11) on the shaft assembly.

11. Connect tube assembly (9) to the shaft assembly.

12. Use a suitable lifting device in order to install plate (8) in the machine. The weight of the plate is approximately 23 kg (51 lb). Install bolts (7).

13. Install plate assembly (5) and bolts (6).

14. Use bolts (3) in order to adjust the tension on the chain. The chain should have 25 ± 5.0 mm (1.0 ± 0.20 inch) of deflection. Tighten bolts (4).

15. Install covers (1) and (2).

End By:

1. Remove the wheel (final drive). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel (Final Drive) - Remove and Install".

2. Install the drag conveyor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drag Conveyor - Remove and Install".
