Locations of the front and rear brakes

Inspect all four wheel brakes for wear and inspect the brake system for leakage. Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Service Brake Discs - Check" for the machine that is being serviced.

Note: When the machine is new, an initial measurement should be taken for reference. A new initial measurement should be taken when the brakes are rebuilt. Compare subsequent measurements to the initial measurement in order to determine the amount of brake wear. If the brake pack shows 75% or more wear, the brake pack must be replaced.
