Footshaft - Disassemble

Start By:
- Remove the footshaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Footshaft - Remove".
- Straighten shim (1).

Illustration 3 g00776988 - Straighten the tab on lockwasher (5) in order to remove locknut (4). Use Tooling (A) and remove locknut (4).

- Repeat Steps 1 through 10 and disassemble the opposite side of the footshaft.
