开始:
- 拆下前车桥。 请参阅拆解和组装, "前固定轴 - 拆卸"。
- 拆下后轴。 请参阅拆解和组装, "摆动桥（后）和耳轴支架 - 拆卸"。
注: 清洁度是一项重要的因素。 拆解步骤开始之前，应彻底清洁部件外部。 这有助于防止尘土进入内部结构。
注: 拆解前，单独测量全部两侧齿轮的端隙。 步骤 1 到 7 涵盖了测量端隙的程序。
- 将差速器组件放到台钳中。

- 将工具 (A) 插入差速器组件的轮轴中，直到工具 (A) 穿过侧齿轮。
- 上紧工具 (A) 的螺母，使其足以将工具锁定到侧齿轮的内部台肩上。
注: 螺母上紧后，工具 (A) 的连杆必须自由移动。
- 将工具 (B) 安装到差速器组件上。
- 将工具 (B) 的千分表在工具 (A) 上归零。
- 将 40 N·m (30 lb ft) 的扭矩施加到工具 (A) 上。
注: 千分表读数便是伞齿轮对面侧齿轮的端隙测量值。
- 对另一侧重复步骤 1 到 6。

- 记录两端隙。 如果测量值大于 0.66 mm (0.026 in)，则更换盘组。

- 拆下将伞齿轮 (2) 固定到差速器箱 (3) 上的螺栓 (1) 。
