Description of Change: There is a new spider and bearing kit in use on the 914G and IT14G machines. This kit is a "Non-Lube-For-Life" Spider Kit. The kit is found under the slip joint group. Three lubrication fittings are added to the "Maintenance Section" lubrication schedule. The shaft slip joint has one lube fitting recommended to be lubricated every 250 service hours or monthly. The universal joints have two lube fittings (one for each joint) recommended to be lubricated every 500 service hours or every three months.

Adaptable To: This new spider and bearing kit is adaptable to all first production 914G and IT14G machines listed above. The new 8V-7336 Spider and Bearing Kit replaces the former 116-8539 Spider and Bearing Kit. This kit is found under the 108-5733 Slip Joint Group.
