Description of Change: A new blade lift cylinder is now available. The new cylinder has an induction hardened rod and an improved rod seal. The new rod seal is designed to withstand higher operating temperatures. The improved rod and seal will increase the service life of the cylinder.

Adaptable To: The new 138-2274 Cylinder Group is a direct replacement for the former 134-1850 Group and the 109-7011 Group. The new cylinder is effective with CP-323C (6DM153), CS-323C (1EN126), CP-433C (2JM383), and CS-433C (3TM441) Vibratory Compactors. The new 138-2274 Cylinder Group is directly adaptable to all previous machines.

The cylinder rod is available as part of the 138-2274 Group, and not available as an individual service part. The new rod seal is available as part of a new 134-1853 Seal Kit.
