Description of Change: The relay switch assembly has been improved to provide increased reliability. The seal (where the coil wires enter the relay switch assembly) has been improved to reduce the possibility of moisture entering the switch assembly.
Adaptable To: The improved 101-7740 Relay Switch Assembly is effective at the supplier with date code 21-S (21 = week, S = 1996 or June, 1996). This improvement can also be detected by the color of the seal where the coil wires enter the switch assembly. The seal is black on the improved switch assembly. The former seal was pink in color. The improved relay switch assembly is a direct replacement for all uses of the 101-7740 Relay Switch Assembly. The improvement is in production with the partial list of effective product identification numbers shown in the chart.
