Log File - Retrieve
- Open UPSView.
- Connect to the UPS by selecting "Menu > Connection > Connect" in UPSView.
- Increment the log file by selecting "Menu > File > Increment Log Files" in UPSView.
- Type CTRL-D in order to dump the log file.
- Disconnect UPSView by selecting "Menu > Connection > Disconnect" in UPSView.
When the dump is finished, there will be a log file. The directory for the log file is located at "C:\Program Files\UPSView\Logs".
The name of the log file that is most recent will be "UPSName-Date_tlog_Number.txt ex. MainUPS-12-2_tlog_003.txt".
The directory for the log file can be opened by issuing the "Menu > File > Open Log Folder" command in UPSView.
