Emergency Power Off - Reset

Usage:

Emergency Power Off - Reset

The procedure must be performed following either a remote emergency power off or a local emergency power off (EPO/ESO) of the system.

  1. Determine the cause of the EPO and remedy the situation before resetting the EPO.

  2. Clear any remote EPO switches or any local EPO switches in order to allow operation of the system.

  3. Reset the EPO circuit breaker (1), behind the door on the left side of the MMS System cabinet. (MMS only)

  4. Reset the EPO circuit breaker (1) behind the door on the left side of the cabinet for the flywheel.

  5. Turn the key switch to the cabinet for the system to theRESET position.

Status Indicators for the Flywheel

The indicators can be green, yellow, or red. The color of the indicator depends on the state of the cabinet of the flywheel that is being monitored. Green indicates that the cabinet is in normal operation. Yellow indicates that a notice condition has occurred. Red indicates that an alarm condition has occurred.
