New procedures have been carried out in order to improve the service life of the 1U-2744 Check Valve Gp. The new procedures eliminate the loosening of the plug for the makeup valve. Refer to the information that follows for the correct procedures for the check valve.

(1) Torque for plug ... 14.9 ± 1.4 N·m (11.0 ± 1.0 lb ft)

(2) Torque for cartridge ... 27.1 ± 2.7 N·m (20.0 ± 2.0 lb ft)

Note: Apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of cartridge (2) prior to assembly.
