Machines and work tools can have several types of connectors. The hydraulic connectors provide the fluid and the power for a work tool. If the connectors on the machine and on the work tool do not match, the work tool cannot be operated.

Identify the connectors on the machine or on the work tool by the following characteristics:

• type of valve

• style of valve

• size of the threads

There are two basic types of valves:

• flat top

• raised conical top

See Illustration 1 for the connector with the flat top. See Illustration 2 for the raised conical top.

The machines are listed with initial effectivity. Additional tables list the kit and the individual parts.

Note: Some work tools require higher pressures and higher volumes of oil. Check that the machine can provide enough oil for the tool before connecting. If necessary, use larger connectors on the machine and on the work tool.

Backhoe Loaders

The couplers with a raised conical top are installed on the C-seriesbackhoe loaders. Some machines were manufactured with the 200-0725 Quick Coupler Kit. Some machines were manufactured with the 200-0724 Quick Coupler Kit. See Illustration 2 and Tables 2 and 3.

The D series backhoe loaders were manufactured with the 200-0726 Quick Coupler Kit. See Illustrations 4 and Table 4.

Telehandlers

Telehandlers with the coupler lines were manufactured with two different couplings. The couplings of telehandlers are not available as kits. Order the necessary parts. See Tables 6 and 7 for the parts. See Table 8 for the effectivity.

Integrated Toolcarriers and Wheel Loaders

Integrated toolcarriers and wheel loaders have different types of connectors. See Tables 2 and 1 and Illustration 2 in order to identify the connectors.

Work Tools

Work Tools can have a variety of connectors. Use the Tables and Illustrations to identify the connectors and associated parts. Ensure that connectors can provide adequate pressure and adequate flow in order to operate the work tool.
