Ether Cylinder Replacement Procedure
The AEIS is a timer based system, and so it is extremely important that the following steps are strictly followed when replacing ether cylinders.
1. Disconnect switch should be ON and the Key Switch should be OFF.
2. Loosen cylinder clamp and unscrew empty 7X1062 Ether Cylinder.
3. Replace 9X7138 Brass Filter and O-ring in the solenoid assembly collar with the new one supplied with each cylinder.
4. Put the supplied 9X0147 Dust Collar on the new ether cylinder.
5. Hand tighten the new ether cylinder in place of the old one.
6. Tighten clamp to secure the cylinder. Verify there are no ether leaks.
7. Turn key switch to ON position and verify that the particular ether out warning lamp is off now.
