Introduction
Use the information in this instruction for installation of the marine auxiliary generator set base groups given above. These base groups require only a minimum amount of space and are, therefore, ideal for use on board ship.

These base groups must not be used with spring type isolators. |

Installation
Use shims or grout to make sure the foundation (floor or other type mounting surface) has a smooth flat surface for installation of the generator set base.
The area where the generator set base is to be installed must be flat to within a maximum deviation of no more than 6.35 mm (0.25").
Refer to the general dimension drawings for installation dimensions.
