(1) Before installation, apply 154-9731 Thread Lock Compound to the threads. Tighten the lever kit to the full depth of the threads. Back out the rod to the orientation that is shown. Tighten the lever kit to a torque of 40.0 ± 5.0 N·m (30.0 ± 4.00 lb ft).
(2) Before installation, apply 154-9731 Thread Lock Compound to the nut.
(3) Before installation, apply 154-9731 Thread Lock Compound to the joint. Tighten the joint to a torque of 40.0 ± 5.0 N·m (30.00 ± 4.00 lb ft).
(4) Torque for the bolt ... 50.0 N·m (37.00 lb ft)
