Crankcase Guard (Rear) - Remove and Install

Start By:
- Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
- Open access door (1). Repeat this procedure for the opposite side.

- Remove two bolts (5) and the washers.

- Remove bolt (7), the washer, and the pin. Repeat this process for the opposite side.
- Carefully lower Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) in order to lower rear crankcase guard (6). The weight of rear crankcase guard (6) is
205 kg (450 lb) .

- Install Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) under rear crankcase guard (6), as shown. Carefully raise Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) in order to install rear crankcase guard (6). The weight of rear crankcase guard (6) is
205 kg (450 lb) . - Install two bolts (5) and the washers.
- Install pin (7), the bolt, and the washer. Repeat this procedure for the opposite side.
