Power Actuator (Crankcase Guard) - Remove and Install
Start By:
- Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
- Remove two bolts (1) and the washers.

Illustration 4 g00747909 - Use toggle switch (3) in order to lower rear crankcase guard (4).
- Support the bottom of rear crankcase guard (4) with a suitable floor jack.

- Cut two wire ties (12) and disconnect electrical connector (10).
- Carefully remove power actuator (11).

- Carefully install power actuator (11).
- Install the pin and cotter pin (9).
- Connect electrical connector (10) and install two wire ties (12).
