- Install two 9.40 mm (0.37 inch) -16 NC eyebolts to the planetary carrier. Position a suitable lifting device to the eyebolts. Secure the lifting device to a suitable hoist. Remove the planetary carrier from the ring gear. Remove three bolts (A) and the retainer plate.
