Torque Converter Lockup Clutch Pressure - Test

(C) Pressure tap for the torque converter lockup clutch | |
- Connect a pressure gauge to the pressure tap (C) for the torque converter lockup clutch.
- Start the engine while the parking brakes are engaged.
- Disengage the parking brake. Place the transmission control in any forward gear. Drive the machine above 6 km/h (4 mph) in order to engage the lockup clutch. Also, set the engine speed at 1500 rpm. Check the pressure of the torque converter lockup clutch.
Note: The pressure of the torque converter lockup clutch should be 1930 ± 70 kPa (280 ± 10 psi).
- Stop the engine.
