Note: There are two disconnect switches on this machine: a battery disconnect switch and a secondary disconnect switch. The secondary disconnect switch is the upper right switch.

ON - Turn the secondary disconnect switch clockwise to position (B) in order to activate the entire electrical system.

Note: If the disconnect switch is at the ON position, the secondary disconnect switch will activate the entire electrical system. The preheater system and the fire suppression system (If equipped) will not be activated. The preheater system and the fire suppression system (If equipped) are activated by the battery disconnect switch.

OFF - Turn the secondary disconnect switch counterclockwise to position (A) in order to disable the electrical system except for the preheat system and the fire suppression system (If equipped) .

The secondary disconnect switch and the engine start switch perform different functions. Turning off the secondary disconnect switch disables the electrical system except for the preheat system and the fire suppression system (If equipped). When you only turn off the engine start switch, the battery remains connected to the electrical system.

Turn the secondary disconnect switch to the OFF position when you are leaving the machine for the day. This will allow the preheat system to operate.

If the machine will not be used for an extended period of time, turn off the battery disconnect switch.
