  1. The machine must be on a level surface and the parking brake must be engaged.

  2. Remove the dipstick. Inspect the dipstick in order to determine the engine oil level.

  3. Before you start the engine, the oil level must be between the "ADD" mark and the "FULL" mark. These marks are on the "ENGINE STOPPED" side of the dipstick.

  4. When the engine is running at low idle, maintain the oil level between the "ADD" mark and the "FULL" mark. These marks are on the "LOW IDLE" side of the dipstick.

Note: Allow sufficient time for the engine oil to become warm.
