Removal Procedure

1. Remove nut (1), the washer, and clip (2) .

2. Loosen bolt (7) until harness assembly (8) can be disconnected. Disconnect harness assembly (8) .

3. Remove nuts (6) and the washers. Move hose assembly (5) out of the way. Remove plate (3) .

4. Remove bolt (9) and the washer. Remove studs (4) and the washers. Remove the electronic control module from the engine.

1. Position the electronic control module on the engine and install studs (4) and the washers.

2. Install bolt (9) and the washer.

3. Install hose assembly (5) and plate (3). Install nuts (6) .

4. Connect harness assembly (8). Tighten bolt (7) to a torque of 6 ± 1 N·m (53 ± 9 lb in).

5. Install clip (2), the washer, and nut (1) .
