Battery, Battery Cable or Battery Disconnect Switch - Replace
- Turn battery disconnect switch (1) counterclockwise to the OFF position. The battery disconnect switch is located on the left side of the machine.

- Tilt the cab upward. The batteries are located under the cab.
Reference: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cab Tilting" for the tilting procedure.

- Disconnect the negative battery cable at battery (2) that is connected to the battery disconnect switch.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable at the battery disconnect switch.
Note: Do not allow the disconnected battery cable to contact the battery disconnect switch.
- Disconnect the positive battery cable at battery (2) .
- Perform the necessary repairs.
- Connect the positive battery cable at battery (2). Connect the other end of the positive battery cable to the battery disconnect switch.
- Connect the negative battery cable at battery (2) .
- Turn battery disconnect switch (1) clockwise to the ON position.
- Tilt the cab downward.
