Water Spray Pump Flow - Test

Sudden movement of the machine can cause injury to persons on or near the machine.

To prevent possible injury, perform the procedure that follows before testing and adjusting the water spray system.

Personal injury or death can result from escaping fluid under pressure.
Escaping fluid under pressure, even a very small pin-hole size leak, can penetrate body tissue and cause serious injury and possible death. If fluid is injected into your skin, it must be treated by a doctor familiar with this type of injury.

Always use a board or cardboard when checking for a leak.

Do the following steps before you perform the following test:
1. Activate the parking brake.
1. Place the propel lever in NEUTRAL.

Water Pump (1) Tube. (2) Connector. (3) Flowmeter. (4) Pressure Gauge. (5) Valve. (6) Water bottle. (7) Pump.

Remove the water pump from the machine.

A temporary water circuit will need to be built. Use 5P-0753 Tube for the water lines. Take the 5P-0753 Tube and cut the tube with the 1U-7648 Tube Cutter. Cut the tube to various lengths, as needed. Use the 5P-4402 Air Brake Connector to connect the tube to all the components in the test. Do the following steps in order to build the temporary water circuit.
1. Cut the tube. The tube will supply the water from the water bottle (6) to the pump (7). Connect the tube to the inlet side of the pump (7) .
1. Cut a tube. The tube will supply the water from the outlet for the pump (7) to the inlet for the flowmeter (3) .
1. Cut a tube. The tube will supply the water from the outlet for the flowmeter (3) to the gauge (4) .
1. Cut a tube. The tube will supply the water from valve (5) to the water bottle (6) .
