Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the hydraulic tank (steering). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Tank (Steering) - Remove".

1. Install Tooling (A) to steering hydraulic tank (1). Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (A). Attach the lifting device to a hoist. Position steering hydraulic tank (1) on a suitable work bench. The weight of steering hydraulic tank (1) is approximately 49 kg (108 lb).

2. Remove locknuts (2), the oil filter (3) and the base from steering hydraulic tank (1) .

3. Remove screen assembly (4) and the O-ring seal from steering hydraulic tank (1).

4. Remove bolts (5), the plug adapter, and the gasket from steering hydraulic tank (1).

5. Remove elbow (6) and the O-ring seal from steering hydraulic tank (1) .

6. Remove breaker relief valve (7) and the O-ring seal. Remove bolts, the sight gauge (8) and the O-ring seals.

7. Remove bolts (9), the locknuts, and the cover assembly (10) from steering hydraulic tank (1) .
