Winch Drive Motor - Disassemble
Disassembly Procedure

Start By:
- Remove the winch drive motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Winch Drive Motor - Remove".
- Remove O-ring seal (1) from the mounting flange for the winch drive motor.

- Put the drive motor in a vertical position on wood blocks.
Note: Put identification marks on the pump parts for assembly purposes.

- Remove eight nuts (2) and the washers that hold cover (3) to the gear plate. Remove cover (3) .
- Remove O-ring seal (4) from cover (3) .

- Remove pressure plate (5), the O-ring seals and the backup rings from gear plate (6) .

- Lift drive gear (7) and driven gear (8) straight out of gear plate (6) .

- Remove gear plate (6) from flange (9) .

- Remove pressure plate (10), the O-ring seals and the backup rings from flange (9) .

- Remove O-ring seal (11) from flange (9) .

- Remove four backup rings (13) and four O-ring seals (12) from each of the two pressure plates.

- Remove two seals (14) and the spacer between the two seals from flange (9), if necessary.

- Remove relief valve (15) from flange (9) .
