Electronic Control Module (Power Train) - Remove and Install

Usage:

980G 2KR

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the machine that is being serviced.

Note: The electronic control module is located inside the cab. Put identification marks on all connectors for installation purposes.

    Right Side

  1. Remove three bolts (1) and access panel (2) .

  1. Remove bolts (4) .

  1. Disconnect electrical connectors (6) from power train electronic control (5) .

  1. Remove four bolts (3) .

  1. Remove power train electronic control (5) .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install power train electronic control (5) .

  1. Install four bolts (3) .

  1. Connect electrical connectors (6) from power train electronic control (5) .

  1. Install bolts (4) .

  1. Install access panel (2) and three bolts (1) .

End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the machine that is being serviced.
