Engine Oil Level - Check

- Open the engine access covers.
- In order to check the oil level, stop the engine. Check the oil level with the dipstick (1).

- Maintain the oil level on the dipstick between the FULL RANGE mark (2) and the ADD OIL mark (3). Add oil in order to maintain the proper level.

Do not overfill crankcase. The oil level must not be above the FULL RANGE on the dipstick. |

- Remove the oil filler cap (4) in order to add oil, if necessary. See Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)".
Note: If the oil is deteriorated or badly contaminated, change the oil regardless of the maintenance interval.

- Clean the oil filler cap and install the oil filler cap (4) .
- Close the engine access covers and lock the engine access covers.
