Engine Air Precleaner for Older Machines | |
- Check the precleaner for accumulation of trash and dirt.
- Empty the bowl whenever the dirt is present in the bowl.
- Loosen the wing nut on the top of the precleaner. Remove the wing nut and remove the bowl.
- Empty the bowl and wash the bowl.
- Install the bowl and the cap. Finger tighten the wing nut. Do not use a tool to tighten the wing nut.

- Squeeze the rubber hose on the bottom of the precleaner in order to release the dust.
- If the precleaner needs further cleaning, unlatch the clips on the side of the precleaner in order to remove the cover. Clean the precleaner. Replace the cover and latch the clips.
