Hitch Feedback Potentiometer - Remove and Install

Removal Procedure

Note: The rockshaft has been removed for photographic reasons.

Note: Put identification on all connections for installation purposes.

  1. Disconnect electrical connector (1).

  2. Remove two bolts (2) from hitch feedback potentiometer (3). Remove hitch feedback potentiometer (3) from bracket (4).

  3. Remove retaining ring (5) from shaft assembly (6). Remove shaft assembly (6) and bushing (7) from bracket (4).

Installation Procedure

  1. Attach shaft assembly (6) and bushing (7) to bracket (4). Install retaining ring (5) to shaft assembly (6).

  2. Use two bolts (2) to attach hitch feedback potentiometer (3) to bracket (4).

  3. Connect electrical connector (1).
