Removal Procedure

1. Remove wing nut (1) , cover (2) and precleaner body assembly (3) from the air cleaner housing.

2. Loosen bolt (5) and clamp (6) that secures air cleaner housing (4) to the air inlet pipe.

Installation Procedure

1. Inspect all parts and clean all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

2. Position air cleaner housing (4) to the air inlet pipe. Tighten bolt (5) and clamp (6) that secures air cleaner housing (4) to the air inlet pipe.

3. Install precleaner body assembly (3) , cover (2) and wing nut (1) to the air cleaner housing.
