Improper attachment of work tools could result in injury or death. Do not operate this machine until you have positive indication that the coupler pins are fully engage. Check for engagement by: 1. Tilt the work tool down. 2. Put down pressure on the work tool. 3. Back the machine up and make sure there is not any movement between the work tool and the quick coupler assembly. |

Move the diverter valve lever to the coupler position in order to provide flow to the coupler.

Disengage - Move the lever to position (1) in order to disengage the coupler pins. Release the lever in order to return the lever to the HOLD position.
HOLD (2) - Release the lever. The coupler pins will remain in the engaged position or in the disengaged position.
ENGAGE - Move the lever to position (3) in order to engage the coupler pins. Release the lever in order to return the lever to the HOLD position.
Note: Make sure that the coupler pins are fully engaged into the attachment before you operate the attachment. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Attachment Coupler Operation" for more detailed instructions.

The quick-coupler pin switch (2) with the red lock button (1) is used to engage the pins. The quick-coupler pin switch is also used to disengage the quick coupler pins.

Auxiliary hoses for attachments must be removed before the quick coupler pins are disengaged. Pulling the attachments with the auxiliary hoses could result in machine damage. |
Disengage - Slide the red button (1) backward and push down on the top of the quick-coupler pin switch (2) to the UNLOCKED position. The UNLOCKED position will retract the coupler pins. The work tool will now be disengaged. |
Engage - Press on the bottom of the quick-coupler pin switch to the LOCKED position in order to engage the coupler pins. The quick-coupler pin switch should be in the LOCKED position when you are not disengaging the quick coupler pins. |
