SUBJECT: Directional Shifts In "B" Series Telehandlers Are Harsh

PROBLEM:

Several report have been received from the field of harsh shifts when directional shifts have been made.

SOLUTION:

Several potential causes have been identified. Calibration procedures for the ECM and component design are being reviewed. The harsh shifting of the transmission is not desirable, but the harsh shifting does not adversely affect the performance or safety of the "B" series Telehandlers.
