SUBJECT: STANDARD NUT WILL NOT HOLD RECOMMENDED TORQUE FOR TRENCHER TEETH
PROBLEM:
The standard 8T-4244 Nut (M12x1.75), which is used to attach the teeth on all T9 and T15 trencher tooth groups, will not hold the recommended torque for this application.
SOLUTION:
Replace the standard 8T-4244 Nuts (M12x1.75) with 6V-7687 Locknuts (M12x1.75). The recommended torque for the 6V-7687 Locknuts (M12x1.75) is 100 ? 20 N?m (74 ? 14 lb.ft.).
