The Pressure/Oil Flow To Engage The Differential Lock Clutch May Be Blocked

Usage:

MOTOR GRADERS24H (7KK1-UP) MOTOR GRADERS

Problem:

The two setscrews (2) in the 2A-7151 Cage Assembly (1) may be screwed in too far. This could restrict the flow or block the pressure/oil flow to the differential lock clutch. Damage to the differential lock clutch assembly can result from this condition.

NOTE: The condition is not detectable by hydraulic pressure tests.

Solution:

Ensure that the heads of the setscrews are flush with the outside surface of the cage assembly. If the setscrews must be adjusted, apply 154-9731 Thread Lock (Red) to the threads of the setscrews. .

Check for this condition during rebuild of the differential. Also, check the differentials that are in your Dealer Parts Inventory for the correct installation of the setscrews
