NOTE: | This Program must be administered either before or after failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS45207" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The existing Rear Axle Housing can crack on certain 785C Off-Highway Trucks. If the existing housing fails, it can leak, resulting in unwanted downtime. This program covers only machines that have a 131-2529 Housing with either the CHINA or SS foundry logos. |

ACTION REQUIRED
Refer to SENR1490 and SENR1489 for the required Disassembly & Assembly and Testing & Adjusting procedures. Remove the rear tires and rims. Remove the transmission. Remove the rear axle assembly by unbolting it from the A-Frame, lateral control rod, and suspension cylinders. Remove the differential, axle shafts, and wheel stations from the old axle housing and transfer into the new axle housing. Adjust the differential thrust pin. Reinstall the axle assembly and transmission into the truck. |

If the Customer demonstrates poor payload management, Dealer must ensure Customer is aware that they may have the claim allowances adjusted. Please refer to 10/10/20 payload policy. |
